Our Product and Tech team are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join us and add their own magical touch to our high-profile websites, like https://global.techradar.com/de-de and https://www.gamesradar.com/uk.

In this unique role you’ll use cutting-edge technology to build innovative and exciting new web products and features, and you’ll have opportunities to build web services too. You’ll be part of a fantastic development team, evolving our web sites living on a single great platform and built on a service-oriented architecture. We’re a sociable team, working in an agile, collaborative, creative and open development environment with daily stand-ups and get togethers. We love to innovate and have monthly hack days. What’s more we get to work with cool websites that reach hundred of millions of visitors per month globally; it’s a pretty rare opportunity!

You’ll write highly optimised code for our responsive web sites, design and implement decoupled components in the service-oriented architecture and ensure the high availability and resiliency of the web sites. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to deliver top quality code packages, carry out pair programming tasks, write automated acceptance test plans, troubleshoot bugs, and run profile measurements on our software. You’ll top up our wiki with relevant documentation of both your own code, and that of teammates, to ensure that these meet required standards and share what we create.
