Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC), an invite-only organization comprised of the world’s top entrepreneurs, is seeking a talented full-time developer to join our fast-paced team. You will be working on new and existing software projects that touch thousands of people, including innovative tools for building highly curated communities.
Our Ideal Developer Has/Is:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent education/experience/training.
- 1-3 years relevant experience developing scalable web applications in an agile environment.
- Experience contributing to open source projects.
- Strong PHP and Javascript skills with knowledge of common design patterns and a commitment to writing clean, high-performing, modular code.
- Experience with one or more PHP testing frameworks.
- Experience developing for WordPress and PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel.)
- Strong understanding of both MySQL and MongoDB schema design with data integrity and security in mind.
- Familiarity with Git/Github or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud computing platform.
Compensation:
- $70,000/year salary (to start) with growth opportunities based on performance.

- Additional vacation time is negotiable based on individual’s performance.
