We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Backend developer (m/f/x) with a very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and an interest in complex and highly scalable web applications. You will work in a friendly team atmosphere, use agile methods and have the chance to develop yourself professionally and personally.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of robust and scalable application components in an agile bi-weekly release cycle

• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB or MongoDB

• You develop high quality Rest- or GraphQL-APIs in a service oriented architecture

• Deliver well performing, fully test covered and documented PHP 8 Microservices

• You are enthusiastic about new technologies and help us improve our technology stack

• You are supporting us lifting our stack to the cloud

• You are a teamplayer and happy to support your colleagues to reach our goals together

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 3-5 years experience as a Backend Engineer using PHP and Frameworks such as: Laravel, Lumen or Symfony

• You have a good experience of working with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Mongodb or DynamoDB

• You are experienced with Docker and Docker-Compose

• Very good knowledge in PHP 7.2 or higher

• Evidence or good programming skills (training course, degree or work experience in the IT-sector)

• Familiar with agile development (scrum)

• Fluent in English, German is a plus

• Your way of working is structured, hands-on and solution-oriented

• AWS experience is a plus

• Experience with asynchronous systems is a plus
