Adopt-a-Pet.com, North America’s largest non-profit pet adoption website, is seeking a Web Developer with a specialization in Perl and PostgreSQL. You’ll work closely with the rest of our engineering team in Richmond, Indiana, to support our mission of finding a safe, loving home for every companion animal.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director in The SF Bay Area, your role will be varied, primarily developing web based software for 4 million potential adopters each month and over 15 thousand animal shelters and rescue organizations.

Richmond, Indiana or Portland, Oregon or San Francisco or Los Angeles and telecommuting. Adopt-a-Pet.com is a distributed team, so you’re free to alternate between working on your own, collaborating via Google Hangouts, and working out of the Richmond, SF or LA offices with the team. We want you in the office at least one day every two weeks, particularly for key sprint meetings.

Hours:

Full-time, but we can be flexible for the absolute right person.
