Job Description
The Patient Safety Observer is responsible for continuously monitoring patients to help maintain their safety and prevent harm.

Primary Responsibilities
• Monitor multiple patients simultaneously
• Recognize safety risks based on nurse‑directed guidelines
• Use a two‑way audio device in patient rooms to verbally redirect patients
• Notify staff when patients require assistance, following appropriate etiquette and escalation processes
• Confirm patient information during every interaction
• Record all interactions with patients and clinical team members
• Show proficiency with various technology systems

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous patient care experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Strong computer proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail
