We are looking to add a new partner to a technology start-up based in Toronto. We are willing to offer up to 20% ownership in the company which will be contingent on experience and commitment. The position is unpaid, there is no hourly wage or salary. The opportunity is an investment of your time in exchange for a stake of ownership in a promising concept. As a partner you would be expected to work from home, virtually, with regular (daily, every other day) communication and one weekly meeting/collaboration.

The start-up is a year old and currently consists of two co-founders. The company is in the prototype/testing stage, and will launch beta shortly. We would make exceptions to this 20% if you have launched a successful technology start-up in the past with a successful exit and valuation beyond $1 million.

The ideal candidate must have/be -Minimum of a bachelor’s level university education -5-10 years of experience in a particular computer domain, with majority of experience accumulated at reputable organizations -Experience in either Web applications, SaaS, mobile applications -Mobile skills -Start-up experience in a successful/reputable startup -Very up-to-pace on new technologies and not reliant on legacy technology -Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Jquery, Bootstrap and cross browser/screen size repsonsiveness -Strong awareness and knowledge in user experience and interface design -Super business oriented and business minded

It would be nice if the candidate had -Experience at an industry leader i.e. Google, Apple, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Yahoo, Youtube etc. -Full stack capabilities -Masters degree or greater -Strong industry connections to moguls and investors

Expectation -Minimum of 1hr of work per day, with minimum 2hr work on weekend days -Can meet weekly for collaboration -Must sign non-compete and non-disclosure forms
