As lead platform architect, you will spearhead the design and technical execution of a world-class analytics platform working closely with our CTO and lead mobile developer. This is an equity position until funding ETA 2-4mo. Distributed team until funding.

Pre-funding responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Building the MV/LP (minimal viable/lovable product) Managing junior software engineers Well-reasoned choice of technologies for backend communication and responsive design Alpha testing Beta launch

Desired Technical Expertise:

Demonstrated deep experience in developing world-class server platforms for supporting mobile applications Direct experience with NodeJS, Go or the like Outstanding C/C++ abilities Deep experience with NOSQL databases Meaningful experience in writing and analyzing performance of multi-threaded code Ability to leverage appropriate tools for load testing and performance analysis Understanding of building responsive crash-proof interaction with server-side code Outstanding linux and shell scripting facility Experience working with virtual environments such as EC2 and/or GCloud Familiarity with Google Cloud, Confluence, Stash, Crowd, and Alfresco

Responsibilities:

Produce a designed, pre-defined Minimal Viable/Lovable Product to establish Beta for the product, and continue to scale. Conduct code reviews and specification conformance testing as defined but the selected software development methodology. Anticipate and discover technology changes that will increase the effectiveness of our product and escalate customer delight in a competitive landscape. Share knowledge, mentor, and educate incoming mobile developers with regard to the company’s technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.
