Summary

Wikimedia Discovery Department is looking for an operations engineer who wants the challenge of innovating, scaling, and evolving the systems that power content discovery for millions of Wikipedia users. Search is at the core of our discovery experience and we need your help to scale it for all users to discover the sum of all human knowledge. We strongly believe in our content and want to build the best knowledge engine in the world.

You’ll join a small team of developers, product managers, and operations engineers focused on search, evolving how our users find and discover content across Wikipedia and its fellow projects, across all languages.

Description

• Drive all technical operational needs for systems including search, maps, and new services

• Work closely with Wikimedia operations teams for all automation needs

• Monitor, scale, and improve operations stack as necessary
