Operations and Data Analyst
The Role:
We are looking for a driven and analytical individual to join one of our affiliated companies in Limassol. This role plays a key part in keeping the company’s trading operations running seamlessly while unlocking value through insightful, data-driven decisions.
It blends hands-on operational tasks—like trade reconciliations, issue resolution, and regulatory reporting—with advanced data analysis, automation, and process optimization. The position offers a unique opportunity to enhance operational efficiency, drive continuous improvement, and deliver insights that help shape the company’s future growth.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Perform daily operational tasks related to the company’s trading activity and lifecycle and ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Reconcile and validate data from different sources to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and address discrepancies or issues in transactions and reporting.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for large data collection and analysis.
- Conduct data analysis to generate insights that inform decision-making.
- Create and maintaindatabases, dashboards, reports, and visual tools to track performance.
- Support in the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements to existing data analysis processes and tools.
- Collaborate with management and other teams to support operational objectives.
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or any other relevant field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relational database technology, SQL and Microsoft Excel is a must
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as R, Python or MATLAB, or similar is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
