Overview:

Welocalize is seeking a Norway-based patent filing associate firm to support client legal teams in executing jurisdiction-specific patent filing and validation activities. This partnership forms part of a broader multi-country filing program focused on optimizing quality, cost, and compliance in global IP processes.

Scope of Work

• Handle national filing and validation of European patents in Norway.
• Collaborate with international legal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Provide local representation and insight into the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO) and EPO procedures.
• Offer guidance on timelines, document preparation, and procedural updates specific to Norwegian validations.
• Participate in rate discussions and ensure transparency in service model (hourly or task-based).

Selection Requirements

• Registered with the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO).
• Legally authorized to file and validate patents on behalf of clients in Norway.
• Demonstrated experience in EP validations, PCT national phase entries, or equivalent filing processes.
• Firm must provide a company profile or brochure and a clear point of contact for coordination.
