We are seeking a developer or devopswho can navigate application development as well as infrastructure automation and performance testing. You will be in charge of monitoring and optimizing the systems backing our end-to-end encrypted communication & productivity platform. You will also assist other backend developers as needed, with a focus on performance and security optimization.

Main duties will include:

• Workingon application logic within a Nodejs + Riak + Redis stack on AWS;

• Building and deploying tools for monitoring, metrics collection, log analytics and error handling;

• Performing and automating stress testing;

• Identifying bottlenecks at application and infrastructure levels;

• Architecting and managing code deployment and distribution systems;

• Handling level 3 support escalation with other senior development team members;

• Collaborating with operations teams to build and optimize application installations on customer architecture;

• Performing penetration tests, independently and/or in collaboration with third parties;

This position will be bridging the gap betweenan operations team, backend developers, and security experts.
