We are working with an industry-leading retail company that is seeking to welcome a Senior Backend Engineer with a proficiency in Node. JS microservices architecture to their eCommerce platform team. This is a great opportunity to join a versatile, high-performing team that is developing business critical applications, including a digital transaction system and a brand new eCommerce application

We are looking for developers who enjoy solving complex problems and excel in building highly reliable, extensible applications.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, preferably on robust enterprise-level applications
• 3+ years of professional experience with Node. JS
• Familiarity with SQL and database operations
• Familiarity with event-driven messaging systems (i.e. Kafka) (preferred)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
