Who We Are:
At Emburse, you won’t just envision the future—you’ll help create it. As a leading provider of travel and expense solutions, we’re building a future where technology enhances business performance and drives exceptional outcomes. Our AI-driven platform enables organizations to modernize financial operations, improve visibility, and optimize enterprise-wide spending.

Emburse is looking for a Senior NetSuite Administrator who will act as the primary expert on NetSuite architecture, governance, and optimization. This position owns the system’s overall design, configuration, and roadmap, ensuring Finance and Accounting processes remain scalable, automated, and prepared for audit requirements.

In partnership with Finance, Accounting, and Business Systems leadership, the Senior Administrator will design solutions that streamline financial workflows, strengthen data accuracy, and support growth through automation and integrations with Salesforce, BillingPlatform, and the Data Warehouse.

This role is essential in enhancing Emburse’s quote-to-cash and record-to-report systems while reducing dependence on external contractors through strong internal expertise and long-term system stewardship.

The position will start as remote and transition to a hybrid schedule of three days per week in a Boston/Burlington office once established.

What You’ll Do:
• Serve as the primary owner of NetSuite, directing system configuration, governance, and integration strategy.
• Work with Finance and Accounting leadership to build the NetSuite roadmap aligned with business priorities and future scalability.
• Design and deploy end-to-end solutions for GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Revenue modules.
• Lead the implementation of advanced NetSuite features such as ARM, OneWorld, and SuiteBilling to support a multi-entity, subscription-based business.
• Define and uphold development, testing, and change management standards for all NetSuite updates.
• Manage integrations with Salesforce, BillingPlatform, and Snowflake to ensure consistent data flow and cohesive processes.
• Identify automation opportunities to replace manual work, boosting accuracy, speed, and audit readiness.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with SOX and internal control standards.
• Mentor junior administrators and offshore teams; manage vendor and contractor work when appropriate.
• Collaborate across departments on enterprise data governance to ensure NetSuite remains a reliable financial system of record.

What We’re Looking For:
• 7+ years of NetSuite administration and development experience, ideally within SaaS or multi-entity organizations.
• Strong expertise in NetSuite financials, revenue management, and intercompany accounting.
• Advanced skills with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics.
• Experience building and managing integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, and billing platforms.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, revenue recognition, and financial close cycles.
• Demonstrated success in leading system roadmaps and governance practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
