Skills & Requirements

C# developer

1 of:

  • Javascript

  • SQL/NoSQL

  • Software system design

  • Cloud experience (you have built significant functionality on a cloud platform)

  • Have experience of scaling tech teams, development processes, as well as platforms

Key responsibilities

  • Design and development of new features of the DrDoctor platform

  • Refactor and improve the existing features/platform

  • Lead development projects using Agile methodologies

  • Support the product manager with technical estimates and developing technical solutions

About you

  • You have experience with a growing tech company, transitioning from a small-scale outfit to an enterprise with millions of users

  • You love solving hard problems and are creative enough to see solutions where nobody has seen them before

  • You are organised, rigorous and disciplined, and can coordinate activities in complex environments, manage stakeholders and set realistic expectations with people

  • You can make decisions in the absence of complete information and accept the consequences and limitations when doing so. You can do this while keeping consensus and buy-in across a team and with stakeholders.

  • You know when to abstract parts of a solution and when not to

  • You enjoy handling complex projects in a fast-paced fluid environment

  • You understand our clients (large, slow, complex, often bureaucratic large enterprises/government organisations)

  • You are happy talking directly to clients and end-users

  • You want to make a difference to patients and the NHS

You will have a direct effect on what we do and how we do it – this is a key role for us and we only want people who will thrive doing this. We’re a small team with flexible working, with people based in our London office but often working from home. Occasional BBQs, days out and other toys also included.
