OptiRTC, an internet-of-things startup focused on monitoring and control of green civil infrastructure is seeking a contract. NET Developers to help us out on our next product release. You’d have the choice of working out of either ourBoston or Chicago office as well as the possibility of working remote for the right candidate.

We are a small team of engineers working to invent and implement the next generation of internet-of-things-based, real-time environmental management. Using patented methods, we combine data describing the actual state of the environment with weather forecasts to actively manage infrastructure, increasing its effectiveness and helping keep our water clean.We are in the middle of a large-scale platform redesign that includes features for new hardware integration as well as new products.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, contributing to the development and support of our updated Azure-based platform using SOA design principles and SOLID code leveraging . NET and open-source technologies. This position will report to and work closely with OptiRTC’s software architect to translate architectural plans into detailed design and help enforce documentation, development, testing, and review processes to ensure a quality product, every time.
