THE OPPORTUNITY Requirements
Required:
Professional Experience building iOS apps (5+ years)

Experience working with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Webdriver) and iOS app profiling tools.
Proficient in at least one iOS coding language (Swift, ObjectiveC)

Excellent code quality, testability, and knowledge of good engineering practices.
Google experience HIGHLY preferred.
Pluses:
Experience in early stage projects

What you’ll be working on
Our client is seeking an iOS developer that has experience building native iOS apps (Swift, Objective C), and that has a deep understanding of the iOS ecosystem. Our team is helping app developers build privacy-compliant products. We built an AI/ML based platform that uses app signals and artificial intelligence to assess how an app behavior compares with app policies and regulations.
The team’s mission is “To create a safer digital ecosystem by simplifying privacy and reducing risk for app developers”. We are a lively, entrepreneurial and fun team working on making the world a better place, one app scan at a time.
The role is for building technology that will help us better understand iOS apps and the ecosystem, integrate with developer workflows, and provide rich assessment of app metadata.
Scope:
Build iOS instrumentation using XCode or related iOS technologies

Build APIs, CLI and libraries for app analysis
Rapidly build out features and refactor code/components

Enable quick build-measure-learn cycles
Demonstrate flexibility, persistence, & resourcefulness

Show a deep, unabiding appreciation for 80/20 thinking/execution
Work cross-functionally with other engineers, product, UX & other business partners.
