At Digifit, we are building a platformthatenablesdoctors, nurses, researchers andapp developers to design, build, test and deploy superior health and wellness solutions that run on mobile phones, tablets, TV’s and web browsers. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll be developing native IOS and Android apps that will truly impact the way people achieve and maintain healthier lives.
You’ll work witn the latest tools, create cool, dynamic user interfaces, and solve challenging problems. Our mobile apps run on both IOS and Android so you must be comfortable with working on both platforms.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:
Must-haves:
3+ years experience programming native IOS and Android apps using Objective C and Java
Demonstrable hands-on experience with Objective-C and Java
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative problem solving skills
Ability to work with a small team and take initiative on projects
Aptitude for test-driven-design
Additional Qualities:
Experience with issue tracking, source control, and unit testing
Experience with RESTful APIs
Database, Bluetooth, threading, animation, graphics, and advanced user interface techniques
Digifit is located in the heart of sunny downtown Santa Barbara, close to shops and restaurants, a beautiful place to live and work. We also employ a distributed team spread across the country, so tele-commuting is an option for candidates with the right skill sets and experience level.
