First – The job description below is not like most job descriptions. We have been told it is gimmicky, too edgy and not enough like all of the other job descriptions from all of the other companies out there looking for ‘Great Developers’. We have struggled with what we should do to attract the type of people that we want on this team, and just as importantly, that want to be on this team. What you read below may or may not come off as one or all of those things, but it is one thing for sure; from the heart of the founders.

We are a small group of engineers who started this company three years ago with three simple goals.

• Create a company where we (as engineers) want to work

• Focus on a core belief of consistently getting better

• Produce great software that our users love

Our point of view is that if we can accomplish those goals – everything else can be solved with hard work and time. That was three years ago and today we are 14 people strong and growing. We have a product that is young and strong. We have customers that love what we are doing and want more. We have the partners, funding and investment to make it big over the next four to five years. What we need now is more great engineers that want to work at a different type of company. Engineers that want to create great software that solves hard problems. Engineers who love being engineers.

Everything below is our attempt to outline what we think this position takes – in terms of skills, desires, and interests – however, these are all very hard things to describe in a job posting and most of these things work better in person than on paper.
