Total Defense isseeking a Software Engineer to join our cloud development team. In this position you will be an integral part of the development and maintenance of our e-commerce and web service infrastructure that provides protection to millions of consumers and businesses.This will include development of web services for data aggregation, command and control, integration with 3rd party systems and services, as well as development of front-end interfaces for these services. You will get the opportunity to work with our global team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our e-commerce platform.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web services for licensing, customer account management, and data aggregation
Develop and maintain e-commerce systems for product catalog management, orderfulfillment, and payment processing
Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis
Addressbugs and find new ways to improve system performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features andenhancements
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Provide assistance to QA in creating continuous integration test plans and systems
Skills & requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft . NET Technologies (C#, web services including WCF/WebAPI)
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
Familiarity with PHP – LEMP, Vagrant, VirtualBox, Git
Cross platform web services developmentexperience (REST, JSON, SOAP)
Solid Dev Ops skills including llS configuration and deployment, Amazon Web Services
Font-end development experience (i.e. HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Experience in developing systems for high reliability and scalability
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
Desired Skills:
Experience with WordPress plug-in development and theme development
Experience with Windows installer technologies
Knowledge of Windows development in C/C++ (MFC, COM, etc)
