The Architect will be responsible for the scope, assessment, design, testing, and technical documentation for implementing, supporting, and migrating enterprise cloud solutions. The successful candidate will have expertise in Microsoft 365 platforms and will use that knowledge to inspire and inform customers, coworkers, and strategic partners with innovative solutions that meet business needs.

**Responsibilities**
– Identify and analyze customer business requirements.
– Convert requirements into an architectural design and help shape the deployment of key infrastructure components.
– Design, build, configure, and maintain all aspects of a Microsoft 365 tenant.
– Plan and deliver end-to-end implementations of Microsoft 365 infrastructure workloads.
– Stay current on existing and emerging Microsoft 365 and related core technologies.
– Participate in pre-sales calls and activities.
– Provide leadership across the practice areas.
– Assist the internal sales team in providing solutions aligned to customer requirements.
– Proactively help customers make more complex decisions about features and capabilities.
– Identify, define, and refer opportunities for additional sales of Planet services and offerings.
– Lead internal technical communities and present new technologies.
– Recommend process improvements or standardization efforts with broad impact.
– Provide strategic vision and lead large technical teams on complex projects.

**Essentials**
– **Exchange:** Must have hands-on, real-world experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions using Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 in large, complex environments, including extensive hybrid and third-party migration experience.
– **Microsoft 365:** Subject matter expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Teams Voice, and other Office 365 workloads.
– **Microsoft Security Stack:** Experience with Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and the Compliance Center, including Litigation Hold, Retention, and eDiscovery.
– **Active Directory:** Real-world experience managing and maintaining Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and on-premises Active Directory migrations.
– Teams Voice experience is a plus.

Architect salaries at Planet Technologies range from $140,000 to $225,000. Final pay will depend on factors such as the type and years of experience related to the role, clearance level, industry experience, education, training, and other qualifications.
