We’re seeking a medical content and program development expert to support Everlywell on a flexible, as-needed basis. This contract role is a great fit for a clinically minded writer or healthcare professional who can quickly get up to speed on our programs and produce high-quality work with minimal ramp-up time.

The ideal contractor can work independently, communicates proactively, and consistently delivers polished materials with complete accuracy and appropriate clinical tone—whether that’s reviewing clinical content, writing patient-facing scripts, or summarizing program workflows. Hours will vary from month to month depending on active project needs, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours.

**Clinical Content Development:**
– Researching, drafting, and editing clinical content for accuracy and suitability for patients, providers, and general audiences
– Developing or refining scripts connected to diagnostic results and clinical care programs
– Reviewing and updating existing content to ensure clinical accuracy, health literacy, and alignment with current guidelines
– Supporting product detail pages, blog posts, engagement communications, and patient-facing care plan language

**Program & Workflow Support:**
– Conducting targeted literature reviews and telehealth industry research to support new or evolving clinical programs and topics
– Converting clinical requirements into clear, practical program summaries or workflow visuals
– Spotting gaps in existing clinical documentation and recommending improvements
– Supporting training and reference materials for internal teams or healthcare providers

**What We’re Looking For:**
– Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, journalism, or equivalent professional experience
– 3+ years of experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
– Familiarity with medical terminology, regulatory guidance (e.g., FDA), and clinical references such as PubMed and UpToDate
– Strong ability to use AI tools and technical resources effectively to streamline medical review, writing, and editing
– Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex medical and scientific information clearly and engagingly
– Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with limited supervision
– Comfort managing deliverables across a changing, project-based schedule
– Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent

**Engagement Details:**
– Type: Independent Contractor
– Commitment: 5–20 hours per month, depending on project needs
– Location: Remote
– Rate: $45–55/hour, based on experience
