The job is simple: you successfully launch markets for us and obtain KPI’s market by market, often hiring a local city manager to remain in place once you leave.
Specifically:Travel to a new market & set up camp for 5-7 weeks until it’s successfully launched.
Including..
- Ground work before you arrive to maximize efficiency.
- Sales to business customers.
- Launch to the local student body once a critical mass of business customers are in place.
- Hire a local city manager to stay in place once you leave.
Involves a decent amount of traveling between markets and our HQ. You are marketplace launcher #1 and a crucial part of our success moving forward, and we view this as a core team member.
We’re a team of 7 at the HQ that’s both fun loving and serious about our work.
We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated individual to come in and drive results.
We’re not reinventing the wheel here as our growth strategy is similar to that of Instacart or Homejoy. You’ll be told generally what to do (launch markets and which general best practices to follow), but we’ll care about results only. How you get from those two points is largely on your shoulders, so you are an entrepreneur above all else.
Ideally you have prior experience launching markets, or at a minimum, have relevant experience.
Salary and compensation
$60,000 — $80,000/year
