The Marketing Manager role requires prior experience in marketing strategies, marketing communications, social media and public relations activities. In addition, a successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and collaborate effectively with Elevar business leadership.
• Be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of all of Elevar’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, social media and public relations activities that will enhance Elevar’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications • Recommend short- /long-term goals (KPIs) to the founders related to the marketing and communications plans • Ensure that tracking processes and/or systems are in place related to these goals (KPIs), monitor progress and report to founders • Develop all Elevar marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, etc. • Establish and build media relations with relevant editors, reporters, and media points of contact that best align with Elevar’s mission, message and target audience • Coordinate media interest in Elevar and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests (quotes from founders, etc.) • Act as advisor to Elevar’s founders as they craft and communicate company messaging to the media • Develop and manage the distribution of the Elevar newsletter, including content and design, at least quarterly and as needed • Monitor marketing trends of Elevar’s competitors and develop ideas of how Elevar can extend its marketing reach to its target audiences
