Job Description: Main Responsibilities
Carry out functional and non-functional testing. Compile and organize test results for reporting to QA managers.
Create test data, tools, and environments required for test execution.
Report defects found, monitor the status of reported defects, and confirm fixes.
Design, create, and review test cases based on requirements in close collaboration with QA managers. Maintain and update test cases.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your assigned areas. Build and share domain knowledge to support QA testers and QA managers.
Provide testing support and guidance to QA engineers. Offer training and instructions to new team members.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base for test execution. Update testing process guidelines with QA managers.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or QA Leader.
Ability to understand and analyze technical specifications, with experience designing and creating test cases.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and QA tools such as ALM, TestRail, TestLink, QASymphony, and others.
Familiarity with test automation processes and tools such as Selenium, UFT, LoadRunner, and others.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and proactive. Team-oriented, open-minded, and an effective communicator.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing mobile applications (Android and iOS).
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
ISTQB (or equivalent) certification.
Experience working in a fast-paced IT/Web development environment (Agile experience is a plus).
Experience standardizing QA processes and methodologies and/or proposing improvements to QA practices.
Experience proposing and implementing new QA tools in the testing process.
Experience delivering projects in collaboration with other teams and external vendor partners.
Experience developing or testing systems in the financial and/or payments industry.

Salary
Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments
Salary determined by skills, experience, and abilities
Performance reviews twice per year
Special incentive once per year, based on company performance, individual contribution, and evaluation
Allowance for late overtime and a work-from-anywhere allowance (JPY 100,000)
