Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Global Facilities & Workplaces Services, the Regional Senior Workplace & Facilities Manager-India/APJ will partner with business leadership, the People & Culture team, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders. They will oversee our India and APJ site operations team who are responsible for elevating the office experience, developing property-specific programming, leading and managing the office’s day-to-day operations, and generating excitement & engagement throughout the building community. Having passion and in-depth knowledge of Property Management, Construction Management, FM Operations with a financial focus is critical. This individual also has experience developing, implementing, and managing a number of scalable programs.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who loves a good challenge, adapts to shifting priorities, and has a track record of designing and deploying innovative solutions that generate results. This position requires an ability to think strategically about problems as well as a knack for tactical execution.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Head of Workplace, Employee Engagement, business leadership and People & Culture team stakeholders to define and communicate Zscaler’s Employee Value Proposition and Employment Brand
Broad knowledge in the areas of facilities management, including building Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing (MEP) systems, Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) and regulatory compliance, Employee Transport and Food & Beverage (F&B) operation
Oversee Physical Security, Firefighting and Disaster preparedness, and employee transport management.
Resource planning to proactively manage any future growth across India and APJ the impact that has across workplace services
Effectively manage local real estate broker teams to maintain required standards for executing growth plans
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years’ experience working within a Facilities or Workplace Operations role
5+ years’ experience successfully managing a team displaying effective communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Hands-on leadership and stakeholder management experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing a complex workload
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of interior design and planning best practices, ADA/accessibility, building codes and life safety requirements, and systems furniture
Experience managing tenant improvement projects over $2M
Proficiency in AutoCad, Bluebeam, REVIT, BIM or other drafting technologies
Proficiency in CAFM/IWMS system technologies
