Why this role

As a manager of Sales Development for the Property Acquisition team, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales development representatives. These reps will support both the Real Estate and Sales function of the organization. You will be supporting a team that will vary in size as the team grows to its optimal state. The ideal candidate will have an expert level understanding of the qualifying and discovery process with experience managing and growing teams in a high velocity sales environment.

You will have a wide span of responsibilities, from developing messaging & processes, identifying and managing to role-specific KPIs, coaching at an individual level, and running team huddles. Your team’s impact on top of funnel quality and conversion will drive the results for the entire sales organization. This role will be a key driver to our property acquisition strategy and durable growth plans.

This role will also be dynamic and grow as a team as established processes mature. It will require the ability to pivot quickly and embrace change in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who can innovate, problem-solve, and provide direction in partnership with the Senior Sales Manager in order to maximize results. Creativity and forward thinking are critical aspects to this role. This manager must be able to motivate, empower, and drive a strong culture of personal accountability, grit, and commitment.

What you’ll do

Responsible for hiring and onboarding a world class Sales Development Representative Team

Assist in the development of playbooks to build a scalable sales development process that results in pipeline growth through both the Sales and Real Estate function of the Property Acquisition organization

Manage team and rep level KPIs to drive continual improvement and maximizing team productivity

Manage the SDR team pipeline, determine levers to pull for acceleration, and provide accurate forecasts weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

Analyze data to identify trends and communicate where appropriate to key stakeholders

Lead and create team meetings/trainings to enhance sales skills, keep team informed, and improve processes

Work closely with the Senior Sales Leadership, to identify areas of opportunity to improve the qualification process, associated workflows, and conversion metrics.

Work in collaboration with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales Enablement to develop effective messaging and systems to convert inbound and outbound/database leads into qualified pipeline, improve process, and drive high conversion

Develop strong relationships with sales leadership to foster efficient communication between SDR and Sales/Real Estate Team.

Manage day to day activities of SDR team including Individual coaching/mentorship, prospecting strategies, objection handling tactics, call reviews, metric reviews, identification of challenges, pipeline management, and career and personal development guidance

What makes you a great fit

4+ years of inside sales and/or sales development experience

2+ years experience in managing or coaching a Sales Development team

Experience recruiting, building, and onboarding an SDR team from the bottom up in high-growth stage company

Experience with CRM and engagement Software (Salesforce & Salesloft)

Has remotely led and motivated a high-touch sales team

Expert knowledge of Top of Funnel sales (prospecting/sales engagement/discovery/qualification)

Proven ability to lead a team through driving results and exceeding targets

Passion for training, motivating, and leading a high-velocity and high touch point role (I.e. 60+ calls/day)

Proven ability to manage your time effectively

A forward-thinking, creative mindset geared towards developing new ideas to enhance your team’s capabilities

Excellent communication skills with the ability to be articulate and direct, both in a group setting and one on one

Eagerness to learn and continue personal development

Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize and delegate when needed

Experience in project and process management

Compassionate, empathetic, humble and patient

Evolve has a flexible working environment and teammates can work remotely from the following states: AZ, CO, ID, NV, OR, and TX. If you are in Colorado you can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, our downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

For this role compensation is based on a base plus commission. Our base salary is $70,000 – $80,000 based on experience. This role is eligible to earn an uncapped monthly commission (with on target earnings of 50% of annual salary) based on team/ individual performance.

LI-JK1 $60,000 — $120,000/year
