We are interested in finding an experienced Web UI Designer to join our team as a co-founder. The Designer will be responsible for designing the user interface components of our web presence. Manage the development our user interaction and general aesthetic. Build and maintain look and feel of online tools and marketing materials. Help guide design decisions in coordination with stake holders in engineering, marketing, and other senior roles. Knowledge of coding is not required but preferred.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science or equivalent experience in related field. 3+ Years work experience as a Web Graphics Designer or Visual Designer in a business environment
- Experience turning concepts and sketches for icons and artwork into finished assets (Experience In layout and color and can translate the UI design idea to html page.
- Experience in driving decisions for typography, iconography, and color
- Proficiency in a variety of design technologies such as Photoshop, HTML, CSS.
- Design and web production skills grounded in best practices for web design and UX design
- Ability to drive design reviews and decisions and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for the web and mobile.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese as this is an international website
- Good English communication skill as well as strong writing skills.
- Self-motivate and proactive attitude.
- Are willing to take risk and work hard and a good team player.
- Have strong interest and ambition/motivation in joining a start-up
- Good time management and task management
- Prefer the person is based in San Francisco/Silicon Valley area
