Role Overview
The Localization Project Manager oversees the effective planning, execution, tracking, delivery, and completion of client projects. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and collaborating with global teams to meet those needs by designing solutions grounded in Welocalize’s four core principles: Customer Service, Quality, Innovation, and Global Teamwork.
The ideal candidate is steady yet driven, able to build strong relationships across project teams, and comfortable thriving in a fast‑moving environment.

Main Duties
– Planning and scoping projects, gathering requirements, and validating them with the client
– Identifying and collaborating with relevant internal and client stakeholders to resource projects effectively for quality, cost, and schedule
– Conducting risk analysis and developing contingency plans
– Leading internal and external teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery
– Creating schedules and tracking delivery timelines
– Managing budgets and controlling project costs
– Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external vendors
– Overseeing project activities and resolving issues through corrective and preventive actions
– Continuously seeking ways to improve delivery, client satisfaction, quality, and profitability
– Providing written and verbal reports to stakeholders regarding scope, financials, progress, and status
– Keeping financial systems accurate and up to date
– Documenting processes and managing knowledge
– Ensuring project profitability through margin management

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field
– Proven project management experience in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment within the translation or localization industry
– Strong understanding of the translation industry and interest in its technologies, processes, competitive environment, and emerging trends
– Demonstrated ability to manage large clients and/or projects
– Curiosity and creativity to challenge existing processes and develop new ones
– Proven experience in process development and idea generation
– Experience managing financials and budget performance
– Customer relationship and business development skills to support organic growth
– Willingness to travel for work
