Signal is hiring a localization manager to make Signal Messenger clear and welcoming to people in every country and in every language. We’re looking for a self starter who deeply understands that an app can’t just work well for an English speaking audience; it must “speak” fluently to all users. This is especially important for Signal where the user base has grown to be predominantly outside the US.

Your objective is to make Signal feel like it fits right along with all the other apps on someone’s phone, regardless of the language they speak or the country in which they live. You will be responsible for defining the end-to-end localization process and delivering high quality translations of Signal into ever more languages over time.
