Translate is looking for a localization developer to join our team.

You will be working with us on Pootle, our open source community localization platform. Pootle itself is used by commercial companies and open source projects such as LibreOffice, Mozilla and Evernote.

Your development skills in Python and Django will be important to help build Pootle. But as, and if not more importantly, your skills and experience in localization are critical. Marrying your experience in the issues and problems of localization with your coding skills makes the code that your produce able to address the real needs of localizers.

You will be part of a remote team, working from home. You will contribute in all aspects of the product evolution, coding, specification, testing and deployment. We work openly with our code hosted on Github and the majority of our development work happening in public.
