Role Description
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer based in Latin America to work with our fastest-growing software company in the United States. This person will work with a great team located in several countries leading people and activities to achieve the client’s aims.
This is a remote, full-time position with a 40-hours workload per week for Latin America only.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of software engineers.
- Design architecture that scales to meet the varied needs of enterprise customers.
- Work with customers and other stakeholders to design and execute technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers in good software engineering practices.
- Assist product managers with designing, estimating, prioritizing, and documenting features.
- Keep informed of industry trends and best practices related to software engineering.
- Perform hands-on software engineering tasks such as programming and code reviews.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or IT
- Experience hiring and supervising a team of engineers
- Comfortable leading meetings and working with product managers and customers
- Experience with SaaS web applications
