Lead Engineer – Mobile & Web: Every company Rokk3r Labs cobuilds has a dedicated Lead Engineer who operates at the intersection of entrepreneurs, project managers, designers and developers. As a lead, you will influence and manage the execution of startup companies in the formative, planning, pre and post-launch stages. While the primary responsibilities are technical, communication between stakeholders is the most important aspect of your position.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Entrepreneur, Lead Product Architect (UX) and other stakeholders to forge an idea and build its platform to meet the needs of a dynamic, global market.

Manage and review developer contributions to git repositories.

Drive the development and communication of design guidelines, patterns, and libraries.

Prepare the execution plan for the development team, follow and guide all the team members to the flawless execution.

Develop and execute project architecture.

Ensure best development practices are followed and code quality is met.

Mentor, coach and guide team members during the development stage.

Suggest the best technologies suitable for the nature of the products to be built.

Manage deployments and servers.

Work within Agile (Scrum) process.

Foster a team culture of learning, creativity, self-improvement & team building.

Adapt quickly to meet the needs of multiple entrepreneurs and deadlines.

Think and create a product based on several code pieces, produced by teammates, while maintaining overarching goals and quality.

Identify user requirements and translate them into efficient technical requirements.

Have in mind all the functional and nonfunctional requirements, translate them to the development team and assure the product met that set of requirements.

Build a team of like-minded engineers to continue scaling the idea with the right team culture in place.

Plan and create code and process standards to be followed for all the developers in the new company.
