Pet Check is hiringa senior developer to join our team as our first in-house, lead PHP developer. We arethe leader in dog walking management software and created the category in 2010 by introducing the most comprehensive and accountable web and mobile app to run every aspect of a dog walking company. Our lead developer will help us scale, add new features, web and (outsourced) mobile capabilities, and add new revenue sources like data and advertising platforms. You will be the system architect as well as perform the programming.

Our web app is built with PHP Codeigniter, our mobile APIs are built with PHP Laravel and our data is stored in MySQL. The entire stack is hosted within AWS.Payments are utilizing Braintree’s Market Solution. The heavy lifting is aided by Beanstalk with Iron. IO failovers. Our goal is 100% up time, so we utilize various monitoring tools to help alert us when things go wrong. Candidates should be able to handle this type of set up.
