We’re looking for a lead mobile engineer to join our international team → EU or Asian timezones preferred.

Your Role

You’ll be leading our mobile team and play a key role in making sure the Fonos app continues to be the best audio app on the SE Asian market. Our app has 300,000+ users who are passionate about our product. We have very high standards for our app and you will be a key person to help us create an amazing product and an app that users love.

• React Native apps for iOS and Android
• NodeJS & Postgres backend
• ReactJS websites
• AWS + local server and DNS solutions

Who you are

This role might be for you if:

• You’ve worked in key roles on mobile apps with at least 100,000 users
• You’re just as comfortable with native code as you are with React Native
• You’re a leader that is both able & willing to coach junior mobile engineers and help them grow
• You know the ins-and-outs of React Native and have what it takes to optimize media-intensive apps even for low-end Android devices

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience developing mobile apps incl. at least 3 years with React Native
• Experience writing native code for Android and iOS
• Experience optimizing the performance of React Native apps with tens of thousands of users or more
• Good command of English
• Great written communication skills
• Nice to have: one or more Android or iOS personal project apps publishedin Google Play or App Store

Salary and compensation
