We’re an early stage startup with the ambition to revolutionise retail and drive the convergence of offline and online retail with an influencer-driven shopping platform. The founder has experience and contacts in the retail sector and was the CEO and founder of an ecommerce company that was sold for 700 million EUR in 2015.
We’re looking for someone who can engineer this system to grow to millions of users worldwide.

Your responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for designing and developing the backend (everything except mobile apps). We will grow the engineering team to match the amount of work we have, but we want an experienced engineer (you) to make sure we have a solid foundation first.
You’ll be working with an iOS developer who has already built a prototype of the mobile app. He and you can work out a suitable API for the app. You’ll also be involved in hiring, training, and mentoring a junior developer. As the company grows, we’d like you to take on a Head of Engineering role, guiding the design and implementation of all systems from a high level.
