We need a Principal DevOpsEngineer with expertise in technology and teams, who wants to drive the direction of the development environment and the infrastructure.

A Principal DevOps Engineer who wants to take our products to the next level, and design a system using all of their knowledge and experience. Someone who wants to be heard, and valued. Someone who knows OpenShift and AWS, and who is constantly trying new technologies and new solutions. We need a Principal DevOps Engineer who wants to mentor a team and be mentored.

With a focus on scalability, our new Principal DevOps Engineer will prepare the development environment and the infrastructure for enterprise deployment. This is an opportunity to work autonomously, hire your own people, and be innovative.

If you join us, you will:

• Help drive all application-level aspects of the company’s SaaS operations

• Build, deploy, analyze, troubleshoot and scale the service wherever and whenever.

• Collaborate closely with engineering on all architectural decisions and stay current on recent technologies to make influential recommendations.

• Operate very large relational and NoSQL databases, queuing systems, message buses, pub-sub servers, and other core infrastructure components.

• Operate Windows-based and Linux-based servers alike, hosted across managed data centers (AWS, OpenShift).

• Own all aspects of application-level analytics, monitoring, and alerting to keep the service available and responsive at all times.

• Implement code deployment and automation tools, such as Salt Stack, and build custom tools and scripts as necessary to make your life absolutely easy.
