We’re an ambitious small team looking for our lead back-end developer — this is position #1 on this team. We want someone who knows the stack back to front and has a great understanding of the server environment.
We believe in teamempowerment, collaboration, and communication.

As developer #1 on the product team you will own and grow our application in every area of the business. Here aresome examples:
- Manage and continue to buildour core class structure
- Work with our front-end team to develop and deploy new features (such as better reporting, an event-based notification system, and multiple-users per account)
- Ensure our application supports our operations and customer success teams (production integration as well as order status, tracking, and support)
- Grow our API platform to work with all our campaigns and order types
- Help build and manage API wrappers
- Manage our multi-server environment and our ongoing transition to AWS

Team & Workflow
You will work closely with our CEO (who built the original system), Product lead (who also does all design and front-end work), and local contractor of 4+ years (who is a JavaScript guru and all-around rockstar).
Our process is extremely agile in nature, but doesn’t follow the scrum workflow directly. We work iteratively and focus on shipping code that is successful, flexible, and scalable. We aren’t afraid to change our mind or scrap half-built features if they can’t be done well. We constantly evaluate and adjust tasks as we move.
Most importantly, we want to create a high-quality product that we all have pride in.
