Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation test frameworks for mobile applications.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and ensure the adoption of best practices in automation testing.
• Define and maintain the overall automation strategy, with a focus on mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers and help them grow their skills in mobile automation and Eggplant tools.
• Ensure automation tests cover all functional, non-functional, regression, and performance aspects of the mobile applications.
• Design and implement efficient mobile test automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation execution and test environment.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant Performance tools.
• Integrate Eggplant automation scripts with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s or advanced degree preferred. Equivalent practical experience considered.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the IT field, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of testing strategies, methodologies, and automation in complex software development environments.
• 6+ years of leadership experience in Automation QA roles, with a proven track record of managing high-performing QA teams and leading large-scale testing initiatives.
• Expertise in QA automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Appium, EggPlant), with a strong command of programming languages relevant to automation (Python, Java, C#).
• Advanced project management skills, with a history of successfully managing projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management and collaboration, with the ability to influence decisions and drive QA strategies across functions within 3Pillar and with external partners.
• Solid experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and DevOps methodologies, enhancing QA processes and productivity.
• Strong business acumen, with an understanding of industry trends, standards, and the competitive landscape, leveraging this insight to inform strategic QA decisions.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to tackling complex issues and the initiative to continuously enhance technical and leadership skills.
• Highly developed communication skills, proficient in engaging with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to advocate for quality assurance excellence and influence strategic directions.
