Mission
Join us as a KYC/KYB Analyst, helping safeguard Qonto’s growth by assessing our most sensitive clients and reinforcing our second line of defense. You’ll work closely with Nicolas, our Head of Financial Crime Compliance, handling high‑risk cases while helping improve and automate our compliance tools and processes.

As a KYC/KYB Analyst at Qonto, you will:
• Review high-risk customer cases through Enhanced Due Diligence to determine risk and onboarding eligibility
• Partner with Onboarding and Product teams to refine data collection and internal tools
• Support Group‑level alignment of ethical and compliance procedures across Europe, with a focus on French regulations
• Contribute to implementing AI tools to automate low‑value tasks
• Conduct periodic reviews of sensitive clients to ensure they remain aligned with Qonto’s risk standards

What you can expect:
• Market/Team context: Join our rapidly growing Anti‑Financial Crime team, acting as Qonto’s second line of defense. You’ll focus on deep investigations and complex decisions without client‑facing responsibilities.
• Methodology: A balance of 70% operational analysis and 30% advisory or project work
• Tools: Forest, Notion, and our in‑house banking systems

About your future manager
Your manager will be Nicolas Gougeon, our Head of Financial Crime Compliance.
• His background: Nicolas spent more than eight years at BNP Paribas, including five years leading counter‑terrorism financing at the group level and over three years as a compliance officer in Group Financial Security. Before banking, he worked at the French Ministry of Interior as a Financial Analyst/Investigator specializing in organized crime and financial security.
• What he brings: Deep regulatory expertise, extensive experience building group oversight functions, and a strong track record in managing complex anti‑financial‑crime frameworks across multiple countries.

About you
• Experience: You have 3 to 5 years in KYC/KYB, Financial Security, or Compliance, ideally in banking or a high‑volume fintech
• Hard skills: Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and hands‑on experience with Enhanced Due Diligence for high‑risk clients
• Analytical mindset: You are rigorous and skilled at analyzing complex corporate information
• Continuous improvement: You proactively identify process gaps and propose actionable improvements
• Languages: You speak French and English fluently

At Qonto, diversity is more than a box‑ticking exercise. Apply even if you don’t meet every requirement—you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
