Welocalize is seeking experienced simultaneous interpreters to support an upcoming life sciences conference in Halong Bay, Vietnam, with travel and accommodation provided. The role requires real-time interpretation from English into Korean during two days of plenary sessions. The event will cover topics in medical devices and life sciences, so accuracy and familiarity with technical terminology are essential.

Main duties include:
• Providing simultaneous English-to-Korean interpretation during plenary sessions.
• Working alongside a partner interpreter to maintain smooth and precise delivery.
• Interpreting specialized material related to medical devices and life sciences.
• Attending the onsite event at the InterContinental Halong Bay Resort on the scheduled dates.

Requirements:
• Significant experience in simultaneous English-to-Korean interpretation.
• Knowledge of medical, life sciences, or technical subject matter.
• Availability to work onsite in Vietnam on July 27 and 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. each day.
• Willingness to travel to Halong Bay, with travel and accommodation provided.

Bonus qualifications:
• Prior interpreting experience for conferences or events in the medical devices sector.
• Familiarity with working in Vietnam or Southeast Asia.
• Strong adaptability and teamwork skills in fast-paced event environments.
