last updated February 11, 2026 18:58 UTC

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 12‑week hands‑on learning experience offered by Stand Together Fellowships, providing meaningful work opportunities at nonprofit organizations across the United States that address some of the country’s most urgent challenges. Applicants must live in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the country for the full duration of the program.

During the internship, you will gain valuable professional experience at a partner organization and take part in development programming that includes a two‑day, in‑person summit at Stand Together’s headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, along with virtual sessions held every other Thursday from 1–4 p.m. ET. Interns receive a stipend of either $7,500 for full‑time work (32 hours per week) or $5,500 for part‑time work (24 hours per week).

Stand Together Fellowships’ programming is designed to help you:
1. Understand the core principles of a free society, including individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and the rule of law.
2. Learn about the Stand Together community’s vision for change and how principled problem‑solving can address major societal issues.
3. Explore opportunities and career paths that promote liberty and a free society.

Candidates interview with both the nonprofit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so early applications are encouraged.

All Koch Internship Program participants must be available every Thursday from 1–4 p.m. ET for virtual training, as well as for the in‑person summit in Arlington, VA on June 3–4.
