Responsibilities:
– Conduct patient intakes and follow-up appointments to determine suitability for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe treatment, and track progress via telemedicine.
– Suggest changes to treatment plans based on patient reactions and development.
– Work closely with psychotherapists in Journey Clinical’s network.
– Coordinate with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to streamline processes.
– Offer timely, constructive input on the care management system to support service improvement.
– Report to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with the leadership team and co-founders.

Profile:
– Licensed to practice in one or more states.
– Currently active in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WI.
– Holds a DEA registration.
– Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when appropriate.
– Experienced in treating anxiety and depression.
– Able to quickly assess medical and psychiatric information to create effective, evidence-based recommendations.
– Patient-centered, diligent, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
– Willing to use simple digital tools like Slack, G Suite, and Zoom.
– Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced telehealth startup environment.
– Interested in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and its potential to transform mental health care.
