Senior Web Developer – Fully Remote

Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a market leading financial for a talented and experienced Senior Web Developer on a fully remote basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Delivery of enterprise-quality software and web solutions on Microsoft Platforms

• Responsible for design, build and delivery of the existing web application which adhere to in-house architectural principles and industry best-practices

• Providing creative ideas for UI/UX development and building UI screens to meet the business requirements

• Building Web API and integrating with the Web Application

• Building responsive layouts and mobile websites with cross-browser compatibility

Responsible for end-end build, test and release of the web application.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Development and Service Oriented Architectures

• Extensive knowledge of Software Design Patterns and SOLID principles

• Strong experience in Angular.js using TypeScript

• Expertise in Front-end Web Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JS Frameworks

• Accomplished in developing Websites and Web Applications using Angular / ASP. NET

• Experience building responsive layouts and mobile websites with cross-browser compatibility

• Experience delivering low-latency Web Services and APIs with a solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON and XML

• Experience working with source control, automated build, deployment tools and package managers (TFS, Git, NuGet, NPM, Gulp)

• Experienced in deploying and supporting multi-tiered applications onto MS Windows Server environments

• A solid understanding of Web Security and OWASP Principles

• Able to write clean unit-testable code (TDD)

Desirable:

• Experience with Microservices, Containers / Docker
