WHO YOU ARE:
• A professional candidate with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Preferably experienced with JavaScript animation libraries such as GreenSock or Anime.js
• Highly experienced in building websites using WordPress and/or Shopify
• Familiar with SOAP and REST APIs, as well as AJAX
• Experienced with server management, including cPanel and DNS hosting
• Experienced using remote repositories and version control systems such as GitHub
• Knowledgeable about security industry standards and best practices; values security measures highly
• Knowledgeable about code organization standards and best practices for component-based design
• Keeps up with new technologies and languages and implements them when needed
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, XD, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of UX and UI best practices
• Comfortable working within deadlines
• A strong multi-tasker who can easily prioritize in a multi-project environment
• Customer-service oriented, with a talent for creating user-friendly websites
• Has an eye for design and enjoys the creative process
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• A team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a collaborative setting
• Self-motivated and proactive
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Work closely with Senior Developers, Designers, and Account Managers to build client websites from the ground up
• Partner with clients to evolve and manage their existing websites
• Work with QA to fix any website bugs or errors
• Help develop and manage the CMS for client websites, including writing instructions and uploading content
• Prioritize user experience across all web-related work
• Support clients in a professional, clear, and friendly manner with web-related tasks such as maintenance, ongoing updates and improvements, and troubleshooting functionality issues
• Communicate design and functionality requirements to the design team clearly and consistently
• Coordinate with QA and the Development team to launch websites on our hosting platform, assist with routine checks, and perform maintenance updates as needed
• Collaborate with QA and the Development team to maintain the hosting platform and resolve any outages
• Launch new and improved development processes and systems
• Work effectively as part of the Development team by collaborating on projects and websites regularly, providing technical support as needed, and helping drive the team’s overall success
