FarApp is looking for a full-time Junior Software Developer in the Los Angeles area to join our team. All work will be done remotely except for the occasional team meeting. We’re located in Torrance, CA.
FarApp is a service owned by The SGC Group, Inc. We’re a small company that’s growing quickly. We offer a cloud-based service that automates our customers’ business processes. We automate their connections between their business systems and popular marketplaces and carts such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, https://www.rakuten.com, Sears, Yahoo, Magento, Shopify, Shipwire, and more.
There is a lot of active development at FarApp. Every new customer requires us to setup and configure everything so it’s working exactly like they want. It’s very common that what they want isn’t available and we need to quickly develop features to support them. This could mean connecting to a new marketplace or third party logistics company, or it could mean importing new data from an existing connector. We’re also trying to expand our feature-set and are actively developing software for our future growth.
We’re looking for somebody who is passionate about software and is interested to start at the ground-level with a company so that they can help it grow and share in its success. We hope that you’re excited to make a big impact because you’ll have plenty of opportunity to do that. If you’re ambitious and smart, we’re definitely interested. But if on top of that you’re the type of person who gets things done, then we’re looking for you. We work with a lot of different technologies with languages such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, C++, etc. and frameworks such as Flask, AngularJS, TurboGears, etc. So we don’t need somebody with a lot of experience but just need somebody who can learn new technologies quickly and is excited to make learning part of their regular routine. We try to never say no at FarApp because we believe we can develop anything (though some things are harder than others). We’re looking for people that have the same mindset.
