OnTheGoSystems is looking for a junior developer who can take on a variety of tasks. You’ll help build our Private Translation Cloud (PTC), a new tool for developers. We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to contribute to software development, system architecture, and technical documentation.

Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work across multiple areas of the project. About half of your time will be spent creating clear, user-friendly technical documentation. The other half will involve hands-on development, working on both the front end and back end, and contributing to the overall system design.

Our Tech Stack
Our backend is primarily built with Ruby on Rails. For the frontend, we use React. We rely on Python for internal tools, and we encourage developers to introduce the best tools and technologies for each project.

Work Hours
Our team collaborates during European morning hours (starting at 9 AM CET) and works Monday through Friday.

Requirements
– Experience with Ruby/Rails, React, or Python, or a strong willingness to learn
– Familiarity with automated testing and a commitment to maintaining strong test coverage
– Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

Professional experience is not mandatory, but we value seeing personal, academic, or side projects that demonstrate your skills and initiative.
