As a QA Mid-Level Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our software integrity, ensuring every release meets our high standards for performance and reliability. You will bridge the gap between development and delivery, working alongside cross-functional teams to design and execute robust testing strategies. Your role will focus heavily on web application stability, with a specific emphasis on validating web services and REST APIs to provide a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities– Collaboration: Partner with developers and stakeholders throughout the SDLC to ensure deliverables align with quality benchmarks.
– Test Engineering: Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts optimized for various web browsers and devices.
– API Validation: Perform deep-dive testing of web services and REST APIs, ensuring clear documentation of results and efficient defect tracking.
– Strategic Testing: Apply the principles of the testing pyramid to balance manual and automated efforts effectively.
– Proactive Ownership: Demonstrate autonomy in identifying potential system bottlenecks and taking initiative on self-directed technical learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications– Testing Fundamentals: Proven experience in end-to-end software testing, from initial planning to final documentation.
– Testing Pyramid: Solid understanding of functional and non-functional testing layers.
– Automation: Practical experience with industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Behat, or Robot Framework.
– Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis to isolate and explain complex software regressions.
– Workflow Tools: Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar issue-tracking and project management software.
– Language: Advanced English proficiency (comfortable with technical reading and writing).

Nice-to-have Skills:– API Expertise: Advanced familiarity with RESTful architecture and API-specific testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
– Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data verification and back-end result analysis.
