We are seeking a Squad Leader to facilitate and guide agile development teams. You will be responsible for promoting and supporting agile principles and practices, ensuring effective collaboration, and fostering a self-organized and high-performing team environment.
Your primary focus will be to facilitate the team’s progress and remove any impediments that hinder their productivity and success. You should act as the key point of communication with the Product Owner (if applicable), ensuring alignment of the team’s decisions and activities.
Responsibilities:
– Lead a multidisciplinary team, monitoring activities through ceremonies and following the roadmap.
– Ensure that the context uses the best agile practices and tools, acting as the guardian of software development best practices.
– Build, implement, measure, and report on productivity, quality, and effectiveness metrics.
– Manage risks and changes.
– Interface with stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous communication, questioning, proposing ideas, and solutions that result in high-value deliveries, always considering the functional and technical requirements of the deliveries, and ensuring process efficiency.
– Ensure that the activities required for deliveries are planned according to the roadmap and project needs.
– Be the primary support point for the development team in day-to-day activities, working to make the team self-managed.
– Support people management, understanding their skills and facilitating their growth through responsibility distribution.
– Strive to achieve readiness and done-done of activities according to the ready and done definitions of the teams.
– Support and facilitate alignments that promote continuous improvement within the team.
– Conduct and/or support the story refinement process for the team, with the level of detail according to the team’s seniority and/or expected velocity.
– Manage blocks to ensure that the team and delivery are not impacted.
– Contribute to the strategy for implementing AI at the company scale, aiming to optimize processes, identify automation opportunities, and promote an organizational culture aligned with the Flow strategy. Develop and implement solutions that promote the effective use of AI across all areas of the company, seeking to improve performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
– Advanced english level
– Experience leading software development teams using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
– Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a self-managed environment. Experience in people management, including skill assessment, growth facilitation, and conflict resolution.
– Solid understanding of productivity, quality, and effectiveness metrics. Proven experience in building, implementing, and reporting on these metrics to drive team performance and project outcomes.
Nice to have
Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
