We are seeking a hands-on professional to join an offshore data processing team responsible for manual document handling when OCR automation fails. This role focuses on operational support, process design, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform manual data entry and document validation when OCR automation fails.
– Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of processed data.
– Provide support during peak workload and operational gaps.
– Define, document, and improve end-to-end back-office processes for OCR exception handling.
– Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality controls, and productivity benchmarks.
– Respond to source document changes by making OCR template updates.
Update templates for each supported document type when OCR failures occur.
– Continuously optimize workflows to reduce backlog, delays, and rework.
– Track and report on key metrics su-ch as throughput, accuracy, backlog, turnaround time, and exceptions.
– Identify bottlenecks, risks, and performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
Technical Skills:
– Advanced proficiency in English (both oral and written) to interact with U. S. clients.
– Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese.
– Experience in managing operational issues and performing root cause analysis for process failures.
– Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose workflow improvements.
– Ability to define, document, and improve back-office processes, including creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality controls.
– Experience in monitoring performance metrics such as throughput, accuracy, and turnaround time.
– Availability to work flexible hours.
– Familiarity with data entry systems and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies.
