As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining workflows, developing concepts, and crafting new interactions and components. Your expertise should bring simplicity, transparency, and delight to the complex finance industry.

This role demands a hands-on approach and a keen interest in simplifying complex, antiquated mortgage processes. You will be involved in every step of the product design process—from discovery and interaction design to visual execution.

Qualifications:

– Strong experience in full-time design and a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional quality in product design.

– Strong familiarity with Figma and how to manage design systems, create well-thought-out interactions and think through responsive design

– Strong experience with Design best practices

– Craft user experiences that transform how lending institutions process loan applications.

– Lead projects and initiatives, defining strategy and user experience visions through cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

– Develop design foundations that are scalable across our diverse customer base and applicable to various loan application offerings.

– Elevate our design team’s craft, inspiring the team to build towards an impactful vision.

– Re-envision internal processes necessary for loan origination and home transactions.

– Possess excellent visual skills and attention to interaction details.

– A systems-thinker eager to transform manual processes into streamlined digital experiences.

– A strong communicator and collaborator, capable of balancing engineering, customer, and product

considerations with user needs.

– A proactive, resourceful self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can make informed decisions with imperfect data.

– A person who is a capable researcher and can apply fundamental UX research skills to building the right thing

Nice to have

– Understanding of mortgage terminology and basic lending principles is a plus.
